In 1999, Bloodgasm was known as Bone Crushing Violence. It consisted of Chuck Ricciotti (vocals), Brendon Mone (lead guitar), John Thomas (bass), Joe Walsh (drums). The band played many shows under this name. As the music got more brutal, they decided a second guitarist was necessary so they hired James Bremer.
