Before starting Bethlehem, Bartsch and Matton used to play in a thrash metal band called Morbid Vision.
Bethlehem’s music is featured in the 1997 film Gummo during a scene showing 2 kids torturing a cat. Two of their songs are included in the movie’s official soundtrack.
