Uranium was heavily influenced by the NWOBHM sound, particularly Iron Maiden. Some of their original songs were "Città rock", "Strade malfamate", and "Notte del demonio".

Nicola Zubiolo was the band's vocalist for some of the time that they were going by the name Necros.
