The seed of Ñu was a band called Fresa, active between 1971 and 1974, where Rosendo Mercado Ruiz (guitar) entered in 1972, José Carlos Molina (vocals) in late 1973 and Juan Almarza (bass) and Pedro Cruz (drums) in 1974. In November 1974 the band decided to drop the name (no original member was left) to change it to Ñu. New moniker was proposed by Cruz and ...
