In the spring of 2003, the band signed a four-album deal with Napalm Records to include "Hin vordende Sod & Sø".

A second demo, "Af Helvegum" (On the Path to Helheim), was recorded in 2000, but never released.

The band name comes from Old Norse and means "Might of the Æsir" or "Might of the Gods".
