The band's name (Tod hütet übel with the correct umlauts and capitalization) roughly translates to "death makes for a poor guardian" in (dated) German. However, if you treat "Übel" as a noun, the band name translates to "Death shepherds (the) evil". A song of the same name appears on Anaal Nathrakh's 2011 album Passion.
