Contrary to popular belief, Whiplash were never called Jackhammer. They are both considered two different bands even though one of the earliest incarnations of Whiplash featured three-fourths of Jackhammer (only Chris Ott has never been a member of Whiplash).
The band went on hiatus after the release of their first album, when drummer Tony Scaglione left in ...
