Deinonychus or Deinonychos (pronounced English die-NON-ee-kus [di'nɔnɪkəs] or Greek day-NON-ü-khos [dɛɪ'nɔnykʰos]) is Greek for "terrible claw", and is a dinosaur related to Velociraptor.
