Formed on the 6th of December in 2000, by Jyrki Hakomäki, Vesa Karppinen and Tommi Turunen in Tornio, Finland, after they had left (punk/metal) band Adder. Rami Moilanen joined in late 2002, with Panu Paunonen completing the line-up in 2003-04, and they did their first gigs and the self-titled EP. After Panu left, Jouni and Hannu joined in 2004-05.
