Skin Chamber was a side project of the industrial group Controlled Bleeding, often seen as the more monolithic and metallic side of Controlled Bleeding. Their sound was very much in the vein of Godflesh and Scorn with influences from doom metal bands.

The group was put to rest shortly after the release of the second album.
