Has also released a solo album, "Στην άκρη Του Χρόνου", in 2008.Sings with Dio tribute band Rock 'n' Roll Children.
During the 00s, Yannis had joined the Greek Orthodox Clergy and formed a christian-themed pop/rock band within the Greek Orthodox community. They released four albums.
As of 2024, he is active again in Greek mainstream music.
