Biography
Born in Zabrze, Poland. In the 1980s, his family emigrated from Chorzów, Poland to Germany. He has lived in Dortmund since 1982.Sorychta was the chief songwriter and producer for Despair. When Despair's singer, Robert Kampf, founded Century Media Records, Sorychta became the in-house producer for the label, working on most of the label's Europe-based bands' albums.

Trivia
Though never officially "revealed", rumours persist that Sorychta actually performs (uncredited) several instruments on the albums he produces, to compensate for less skilled musicians and save time in the studio.
