In 2011, the Norwegian electronic/dub band Plutho released the song "Queen of Broken Hearts", which features Vibeke's guest vocals. According to the group, it was recorded back in 1999.

She left Tristania in February 2007 to teach singing.

Her sister Maiken Stene and mother Sissel Bø Stene participated on Tristania's 2nd album "Beyond the Veil".
