Vesa started playing bass at 17, joining Tre Kronor with Jyrki Hakomäki and Peter, a friend of theirs. Tre Kronor changed name to Adder, and when Adder split up, Vesa, Jyrki Hakomäki and Tommi Turunen formed Fall of the Idols. He formed Wolfshead after relocating to Oulu.


Tre Kronor and Adder were both punk bands.

Played his first ever gig after just 4 months as a bassist, 2 months past his 18th birthday.

Also had a power electronics project called March 15 together with Sami Hynninen of Reverend Bizarre.
