Biography
Boykin's father was in the military and was moved around the country during Tim's childhood. He taught himself to play a guitar his mother bought him for his 12th birthday. After finding his niche as a teenager in the North Carolina mountains he moved back to Birmingham. While at Berry High School he formed a band called the Dead End Kids and then joined the Ether Dogs, which played The Cavern on ...Trivia
Studied commercial art at Bessemer State Technical College.
