Biography
Owens began his career fronting Brainicide and Winters Bane, before higher profile stints with Judas Priest and Iced Earth, both of whom he was fired from to make way for returning former vocalists.Trivia
Dio Disciples is a Ronnie James Dio tribute band.Owens has performed live with the rock band American Dog, but there is no such band as "American Dog and Tim Owens".
The handle "Ripper" was given to him by K.K. Downing, when he joined Judas Priest, because "he rips the shit out of the vocals".
Was managed by Wendy Dio for a time, including during his tenure with Iced Earth.
