Best known as the singer of hard rock band Aerosmith, and a former judge of TV show "American Idol".Trivia
Published his autobiography, Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?, in 2012.Released a solo album titled We're All Somebody from Somewhere in 2016.
Father of actress Liv Tyler.
Received an honorary degree from Berklee College of Music (Boston, Massachusetts) in June 2003.
In March, 2001, he was inducted with Aerosmith into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, by Kid Rock.
