Biography

His mother, a prominent costume maker who designed outfits for prolific bands such as The Beatles, was romantically tied to David Bowie for a time whilst Slash was growing up.Slash owns more than 100 guitars, even if he prefers the Gibson Les Paul, which he has called "the best all-around guitar for me". His main studio guitar is a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard replica.
