Best known as a pioneer in the saxophonics playing style, Skerik is both the frontman of his group, Skerik's Syncopated Taint Septet, & has released two solo albums. Skerik has also performed alongside Les Claypool and Brad "B.R.A.D." Mowen (amongst others), who is a session/live member of Skerik's jazz rock/metal group, Crack Sabbath.


Skerik is sometimes referred to as the Mike Patton of saxophone.
