Biography

Matthews is a British drummer, best known for having been a founding member of Iron Maiden, and the first one to be called by Steve Harris; he was fired after two years and a half in 1977 when their singer Dennis Wilcock convinced Harris to renovate the band.

Trivia

Although having been in Iron Maiden for more than two years, he does not appear in any of their recordings.
