Biography
Father of Tye Trujillo.Trujillo's career began when he met Mike Muir and Rocky George of the band Suicidal Tendencies. In the nineties, Muir and Trujillo formed the funk rock band Infectious Grooves. Robert was the group's bass player for several years until he left the band, and joined Ozzy Osbourne. There he remained until 2003, when he was invited to Metallica.

Contrary to popular belief, the members of Suicidal Tendencies have stated that Trujillo never actually performed on Suicidal Tendencies' 1989 EP "Controlled by Hatred / Feel like Shit... Deja Vu", and the alias "Stymee" (which is often credited to/confused with Trujillo) is an acronym of the quote "S.T. why me" from Trujillo, who joined shortly after its completion and refused to be credited by ...
