Bludgeon Hounds were from Kankakee, Illinois, active from the mid-'80s until 1991. Originally a two-piece (Phil and drummer David Thomson), eventually bassist Robert Usher and vocalist Bill Turner were recruited. They recorded several songs, which weren't officially released - these included "Looking Down", "Release", "Toxic Dreams", "Goofy Glass", and "Morphic Resonance".
