Biography

Jon Zazula founded the famed underground record label Megaforce Records along with his wife Marsha. The Zazulas and Megaforce are seen as key figures in the nascent thrash metal scene of the early 80s, having released the debut albums of Metallica, Overkill, Anthrax.

He released his autobiography titled "Heavy Tales: The Metal. The Music. The Madness. As lived by Jon Zazula" (with a foreword ...

Lone Rager's identity was not officially revealed to be Jon Zazula until the "Heavy Tales" autobiography was announced and the official audio from the audiobook was published via Loudwire.com in June of 2020.
