Biography

A musician and electronics engineer, Dawk worked for early Ronnie James Dio band Elf, and went on to work with Rainbow, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. He designed and modified instruments, mostly stringed ones.

Trivia

Designed and maintained custom instruments and equipment for Manowar, most famously Joey DeMaio's bass guitar.

He's referenced very favourably on early Manowar records. "Hail to England" was dedicated to him.
