Biography
In 1996 Joacim Cans was invited to play with HammerFall for one show as replacement for the unavailable Mikael Stanne, and was almost immediately given the position on a full-time basis.Since then he has gone on to become the only member aside from founder and guitarist Oscar Dronjak to appear on all of HammerFall's recordings.
Trivia
His first name is pronounced "JOE-uh-KIM"He has attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood.
Cans participated with a choir team in the Swedish television program Körslaget (the Swedish version of Clash of the Choirs) in 2008. On 10 May his team won the entire competition.
