Biography
Schwichtenberg was one of the founding members of Helloween, and he was famous for his high-energy drumming. All the Helloween members gave him the nickname "Mr. Smile" because it was hard to find him without a smile on his face. Schwichtenberg was expelled from the band in 1993 during the tour of the Chameleon album, while on the other hand he was apparently somewhat dissatisfied with the ...Trivia
In 1995, Kai Hansen dedicated the song "Afterlife" from Gamma Ray's fourth album Land of the Free to his memory. Michael Kiske dedicated to him the song "Always" from his first solo album Instant Clarity a year later.
