Hideki Ishima moved to Tokyo and joined the Japanese musical scene in mid-'60s. After his permanence in the beat/group bands The Beavers, The Outlaws and The Flowers, he finally joined Flower Travellin' Band in 1969.

He also released two solo albums (one in 1973 and another in 1984 as a collaboration with Joe Yamanaka and Akira Ito), and joined many other bands during the years.
