Biography

Guðmundur, nicknamed and often referred to simply as Gummi, was the drummer and a founding member of Sólstafir. He used his student loan to fund the band and ran their merchandise store.

Initially thought to have sat out of a 2015 European tour, he later revealed he was being forced out of the band. He started a Wordpress blog detailing his case and filed a formal lawsuit against the band in ...

Trivia

Guðmundur is a relative of Sigurður and Steinþór Nicolaison, two members of the enigmatic Icelandic band Flames of Hell. An interview with him surfaced in 2002 where he divulges some details about the band and its sole recording, Fire and Steel.

He's also an artist and illustrator working under the name Kuggur Art or simply Kuggur.
