Biography

Eric formed Saviour Machine in 1989, with his brother Jeff Clayton.

Trivia

In 2004, he was diagnosed with Barrett’s Esophagus, a condition that got worse over the course of some years, and he retreated from the music business.

He was invited to perform at the Ayreon spin-off The Theatre Equation in 2015, and eventually decided to move permanently to Europe in the summer of 2017.
