Biography
A prolific drummer within the Norwegian black metal scene since the mid 90's, Dirge Rep is mainly known for his early work with Gehenna and later Enslaved, and is also known as a lyricist for his own bands as well as other projects. He later formed Orcustus, in which besides drumming he also handles the visuals and writes most of the lyrics.Trivia
Participated with Ihsahn and Samoth from Emperor in the Celtic Frost tribute "In Memory Of... Celtic Frost" released by Dwell Records in 1996 covering the Hellhammer song "Massacra".Dirge Rep recorded drum tracks for the Craft album "Void" as a session drummer but they were not used, according to an official statement by Craft: "The drum session with Dirge Rep had to be scratched partly ...
