Biography
Demonaz stepped down from playing guitars in Immortal in 1997 due to severe tendinitis in his arms that prevented him from playing the guitar at the speeds that were required. He continued to write lyrics and has occasionally served as manager for Immortal since then, while still being considered a band member. Demonaz writes music for video games, such as Naval War: Arctic Circle and UHR-Warlords. He also provided the lyrics for Abbath's side project I, and his sister Merete Winther used to be married to Abbath, who gave him a son.
