Biography
Daniel Mongrain is the founding guitarist/vocalist of Martyr.A long-time fan of Voivod, he joined the reactivated band in 2008 as a touring member in place of their late guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Amour and later went on to become a full member when they decided to continue on a more permanent basis.
Trivia
Mongrain teaches jazz and pop guitar at the Cégep régional de Lanaudière, Joliette Campus.He interpreted the fictional guitarist of black metal band Gargamel, Count Chokulis, in the band's photos.
