He was the singer of Dream Theater from 1987 to 1989. After leaving Dream Theater, he left the music business to work as a finance manager in the automobile industry. However, he reunited for one show with Dream Theater in 2004, then started his own band, Dominici.


Charlie performed backing vocals on the 1981 debut album by the New York band Franke and the Knockouts.
