Chad Gray is the ex-lead vocalist for the alternative/nu-metal band Mudvayne and vocalist of the groove metal band Hellyeah.

He is the son of Dan and Mitzi Davis of Edgewater, Florida. In Hellyeah's DVD, Below the Belt, he talks of how his grandmother, Betty Rau, raised him and would bring him to perform in choir. As an adult, he quit his factory job that paid $40,000 a year to move to Peoria, ...


Chad Gray aslo has made guest appearances in the songs "Monsters" by V Shape Mind, "Falling Backwards" by Bloodsimple and "Miracle" by Nonpoint.
