Biography

Brian May, CBE, is best known as the guitarist of the platinum-selling rock band Queen, and wrote many of their best known songs.

Trivia

He is recognised as a virtuoso and highly influential guitarist.

Was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2005, for services to the music industry.

Also holds a PhD in astrophysics which he gained from Imperial College in 2007.
