Biography
Gelotte is a songwriter and guitarist for the Swedish band In Flames. Before joining them, he was a member of the band Flesh of Sights. In 1995, he joined In Flames as drummer and continued his position as drummer during The Jester Race and Whoracle. Gelotte switched to his current position on guitars after Niclas Engelin left the band in 1998, sharing lead/rhythm guitar work with former In ...Trivia
In March 2004, Gelotte and Strömblad were both ranked #70 out of 100 greatest heavy metal guitarists of all times by Guitar World.He is an avid Star Trek: TOS fan. He's also a big fan of the American rock band CKY.
Along with Peter Iwers, Gelotte owns the 2112 restaurant in Gothenburg, named after the Rush album.
