Biography
Benjamin Schippritt started to play drums on schoolbags at the age of 7. He was supported by his 8 month older uncle, playing air guitar. When he was 11 he took his father's guitar and tried to be Angus Young of AC/DC. In the mid-'80s Benjamin was really blown away by guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen and Vinnie Moore, and practiced many hours a day. Of course school bands were formed back then, ...Trivia
Shine Dark were active in the early '90s. Their other known members were Tobby (vocals), Olly (guitars), Frank (bass), and Chris (drums). The band officially released at least one demo tape, "The Way to Heaven" (1991 - at which time it's not known if Benjamin was part of the lineup), but several more recordings exist.
