Olzon was raised in a musical family and has been singing since childhood; she toured with her mother's band and sang with them on some occasions. In her youth she sang in choirs, did studio work for various projects and occasionally performed as a wedding singer. She then joined the melodic rock band Alyson Avenue, firstly as a backup singer (the band had a male singer at the time) and then as ...


She has been married to Johan Husgafvel since August 10, 2013, and has three sons - one from her first marriage, Seth Blyckert (born 11 July, 2001) and two with Husgafvel, Nemo (born 30 July, 2010) and Mio (born 28 March, 2013).

In the period between 2014 and 2017, Olzon studied nursing in a Swedish university. Nowadays she also works as a registered nurse.
