Place of birth:

Influenced by the guitar style of Tony Iommi, Morris was a pioneer of the Maryland doom metal sound. He formed Force in 1976, and Iron Man in 1988, the latter band initially containing two other Force members. Although Iron Man was, at first, formed with the intention of covering Black Sabbath songs, they nonetheless recorded five albums worth of original material, Morris being the only constant ...

Noted for both his electric guitar playing techniques and tone, Morris said to Dee Calhoun, the final singer of Iron Man, that he aimed to sound like a combination of Tony Iommi's guitar and Geezer Butler's bass.
