Biography
Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho was a Finnish singer, composer, and guitarist. He was best known as the lead guitarist/lead vocalist of melodic death/power metal band Children of Bodom. He also occasionally played with Thy Serpent, Sinergy, Kylähullut, and Impaled Nazarene.In February 2002, in a private ceremony in Finland, Alexi married Kimberly Goss, frontwoman of the band Sinergy, having dated for ...
Trivia
His "Wildchild" nickname is derived from the W.A.S.P. song "Wild Child" and he even has a clothing line called Wild Child Industries.Laiho's first guitar was a Tokai Stratocaster.
In 2019, he released his autobiography entitled, "Kitara, kaaos & kontrolli" for Finnish market only. In April 2020 the book was translated to English for the international market.
