Biography

Giger was a surrealist artist, best known for designing the titular creature in the 1979 horror film Alien.

Trivia

Aside from occasionally providing artwork for metal bands, Giger also painted the album cover for Emerson, Lake & Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery album as well as Magma's Attahk. He also designed microphone stands for Jonathan Davis of Korn.
