Originally a self-financed LP, consisting of material partly previously available on the band's demo tapes. It is still widely regarded as their first proper album, as it was intended as such. It was distributed through Semaphore.

The title refers to the year in which the "Witch Hunter's Handbook" was accepted by the Catholic Church - see official site for details.

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, the band finally released this album on CD in 2005 via Dazed & Confused.

Bootleg CD with subpar sound quality released by Direct Edition.

Recording information:

Recorded at Borg Lydstudio, Sarpsborg, Norway.
