Original First pressing copies released on white paper covers. The first press ones are released on black tapes and white printed labels. All music and lyrics by Joe Gizmo & The Spudmonsters except lyrics to "On the Edge of Lunacy" by the Spudmonster's first bassist Ian Shipley (Breaker, ex-Concussion).
Since the 90's Joe Gizmo has disavowed the homophobic nature of the lyrics to "Safe Past Franklin", although most of the lyrics were meant as a humorous jab at a specific area of his hometown, Lakewood, he has stated that he sees those lyrics (especially one particular part) as being not representative of his outlook/beliefs since soon after the songs release.
Recorded 1987/88 at Beat Farm Studio, Cleveland, OH.
Produced by Chris Burgess, and Joe Gizmo & The Spudmonsters.
