Trivia:
- Shortly after the release of this album, guitarist James Murphy was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which was successfully removed. As a result, Murphy cannot remember his involvement with "The Gathering".
- The original Japanese version contained one bonus track "Hammer of the Gods". The title was erroneously added to the Spitfire release on the disc cover, cut off at the edge of the disc itself.
- Released by Burnt Offerings Inc. in Germany (manufactured and marketed by Spitfire Records)
