"Catatonia" is a re-recording of a song from Human Waste and Funeral Inception. Re-recorded during the Souls to Deny sessions and appears on the "Surgery of Impalement" single.

The intro sentence "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist." is from the 1995 movie The Usual Suspects. This aphorism is originally found in Charles Baudelaire's 1864 novel Le Joueur généreux .

Mike Smith didn't appear on this EP, as he stated in an interview conducted in late 2009 on diabolicalconquest.com.
