The song "Burn For An Eternity" was originally recorded especially and exclusively for the Abridged Pause Recordings Various Artists compilation "Billowing Tempestus". The compilation was scheduled for release in April 2016 but was shelved at the last minute due to complications. Sorrowbringer then opted to self-release the song as a digital EP, combined with another new song recorded a year later.
