The song was written about Saxon's appearance at the 1980 Monsters of Rock festival in Donington Park, Leicestershire, UK.
Rainbow headlined, and they get a mention in the lyrics.
The title was inspired by stories of the Titanic, that suggested that the ship's band played on, while the ship sank.
