A concept album based on the novel The Way of Wyrd by Brian Bates.

Subtitled Reflections of Our Yesterdays. The subtitle only appears on the rear cover and in the lyric sheet.

In the lyric sheet, The Best of Enemies is subtitled Wulf's Tale.

The cover painting by Tim Beer was created on short notice after the original artwork by John Blanche was rejected.

Recorded at Sky Trak Studio, mixed at Hansa Studio Berlin from January-March 1989.
