Paul quit the band just prior to this recording, but was still given bass and backing vocal credits (as well as a songwriting credit, like the other 3 members). The band auditioned someone to fill in on bass for the recording, but the person that they found didn't work out after giving recording the a try. Tony ended up playing the bass tracks on these songs.
