The cover art is a collage featuring an illustration from The Illustrated Edgar Allen Poe by Wilfried Sätty (comprising the foreground) and Gustave Doré's illustrations for The Raven (the Grim Reaper), among other unknown images (for example, the moon).

The titles of the songs "The Hellish Triumph" and "Maw of Death" are taken from the novel Frankenstein.

First pressing, including a poster and a pin. Home-dubbed tapes with 2-sided, professionally-printed inlay.

A hand-numbered test pressing (with handmade cover, limited to 11 copies) of an upcoming vinyl edition was released on August 21, 2012.
